GILL FICKLING
Having spent most of her professional life as a documentary film-maker, Gill now concentrates on her painting. She lives between Cornwall, UK and Andalucia, Spain. Her passion in her work is light and colour and exploring what each brings to the other. Working largely in acrylics, her paintings reflect the vibrant light of southern Spain and Cornwall, as she aims to capture the joy in her surroundings, an antidote to her years making films on the injustice and misery of life for so many people.
